Naval Dockyard, Mumbai ND (MBI) invites applications from the eligible candidates for the recruitment of the Tradesman (Skilled) Group C Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, Industrial vacancies and for the recruitment of Chargeman vacancies at Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar, Karnatkaka/ NAval Dockyard Mumbai/ any other place in Western Naval Command.

Eligibility Criteria for Tradesman and Chargeman :
Age Limit : Candidates age should be between the age group of 18 years to 25 years, applicable to both direct recruits and Ex-naval apprentices with relaxation mentioned in the notification.
Educational Qualification :
A. Tradesman Skilled (Group C) :
1. Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Institute or Board with Knowledge of English.
2. Should have completed Apprenticeship Training in the trade or mechanic or equivalent with 2 years regular service.
B. For Chargeman post : Degree in Science with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics or Degree in Engineering in the appropriate discipline from a recognized University or a Board.
Pay Scale :
1. For Tradesman (Skilled) : Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-.
2. For Chargeman : Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade pay of Rs. 4200/-.
Selection Process : Candidates , who registered their Online application , will be shortlisted for a written examination consisting of objective type questions. Selection will be purely based on the performance in written test and Merit List.
