Eligibility Criteria for Engg Assistant & Technician post :
Age Limit : The maximum age limit for General candidates as on 31.07.2013 will be 28 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Educational Qualification :
1. For Engineering Assistant Trainee : Candidates should have completed 3 years Full Time Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized Institute in Electronics / Mechanical / Electrical disciplines.
2. For Technician : Candidates should have done ITI (60% aggregate) in Electronics Mechanics/ Fitter/ Welder +1 year apprenticeship training , National Apprenticeship Certificate course .
Pay Scale :
1. For Engineering Assistant : Rs. 10,050 -3% - 25,450/-.
2. For Technician : Rs. 8,740 -3% - 22,150/-.
Mode of Selection : Selection will be through written test and Interview of shortlisted candidates based on performance in the written test.
Application Fee :
1. General & OBC Candidates need to pay Rs. 300 in the form of crossed Demand draft.
2. SC/ST/PWD Candidates are exempted from payment of Application fee.
How to Apply : Interested Candidates may register their applications through Online mode from the BEL website. After submission of online application, candidates have to download the system generated application form and along with relevant enclosures send it to address given below :
