Applications in prescribed format are being invited by Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) for recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector of police. Interested candidates can apply for this post only through Offline mode , i.e they have to send dully filled application form at the relevant address before 31st may, 2014. i. S.I (UB) (Men): 45 Posts (SC: 04, ST: 14, UR: 27)
ii. S.I (UB) (Women): 30 Posts (SC: 05, ST: 10, UR:15)
iii. S.I (AB) (Men): 07 Posts (ST: 01, UR: 06)


Age limit : Candidates age should not below 21 years and not above 27 years as on 01.01.2014. Relaxation in upper age limit of 5 years to SC/ST candidates are being provided.

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have completed Graduation in any Discipline. 

Selection Process : Selection will be done on the basis of their performance in Physical Efficiency test/written examination / personality test.

Application Fee : 
1. General and SC/ST Candidates of other States are required to pay Rs. 100/-.
2. SC/ST/BPL Card Holders/PH Candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/-.

How to Apply : Candidates are strongly advised to send their application in prescribed performa along with 02 copies of recent stamp size photographs affixed on the application form & admit card and a self addressed post card indicating the Advertisement No and Name of the post applied for, send it to "the Reception Counter of TPSC Secretariat" .
