Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites Online Applications from Indian nationals for filling up of the 2342 vacancies ofVillage Administrative Officer posts.  Interested Candidates may fill VAO Online Application form before 15th April, 2014.  More detailed information is mentioned below .

Name of Post : Village Administrative Officer (VAO) [Grama Nirvaga Aluvalar]


Age Limit : Candidates age should not below 21 years and not above 30 years for General candidates and not above 40 years for reserved candidates.


Educational Qualification :  Candidate should have passed S.S.L.C (Matriculation - 10th Class) Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies. Candidates should possess knowledge of Tamil.


Selection Process : Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination that will be off objective type.


Pay Scale :  Rs.5,200 -20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2,400/-


Examination Fee : 
1. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 125/- (Examination Fee Rs.75/- + Cost of Application Rs.50/-).
2. Reserved Caste category candidates need to pay Rs.50/- towards Application Cost.
