Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites applications only through Online mode for the Direct recruitment to District Educational Officer Posts. Interested Candidates may apply Online from 14th February, 2014 to 12th March, 2014. Number of vacancies : 11
Name of Posts : District Educational Officer
Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Candidates age should not be less than 18 years as on 01.07.2014.
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have Master's degree of any University in the State of Tamil Nadu or a Degree of equivalent standard with not less than 50% of Marks. Candidates must have B.T or B.Ed Degree of any University in the State of Tamil Nadu or a degree of equivalent standard.
Selection Process : Selection will be made in three successive stages viz.,
1. Preliminary Examination for selection of candidates for admission to the Main Written Examination and
2. Main Written Examination and
3. Oral Test in the shape of an Interview
Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5700/-.
Examination Fee :
1. For Preliminary Exam : Rs. 125/-.
2. For Main written Exam : Rs. 125/-.
3. Reserved category candidates need to pay Only Rs. 50/-.
How to Apply : Candidates should apply only through on-line in the Commission’s website www.tnpsc.gov.in or in www.tnpscexams.net . Before applying, the candidates should have scanned image of their photograph and signature in CD/DVD/Pen drive as per their convenience. A valid e-mail ID or mobile number is mandatory for registration.
