Indian Coast Guard (Ministry of Defence) invites Online applications from unmarried male Indian nationals for the recruitment to the post of Navik (General Duty) for 10+2 Entry-02/2014 batch in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union. Name of Posts : Navik (General Duty)
Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 22 years of age i.e born between 01st August, 1992 to 31st July, 1996.
Upper Age Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Candidates.
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed 10+2 Board Exam with 60% aggregate in total and min. 60% in each subject of Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Central/State Government
Selection Process : Selection will be based on the order of merit depending on their performance in written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Fitness in Medical Examination.
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 -20,200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/-.
How to Apply : Candidates would register their applications through online mode from the website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in by 29th Jan, 2014. After successful submission of online application, system will generate registration number , take print out of the two copies of application form and bring it to the recruitment centre on the date of Examination.
