Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold aLower Division Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2014 on 23rd March, 2014. This Examination will be held for recruitment to vacancies in Lower Division Grade reserved for regularly appointed Group 'C' Staff in the Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 in various Board. Candidates who want to appear in Examination, they can send their application in prescribed formon or before 07th February, 2014. The eligibility criteria, selection process and other details are provided below.

Eligibility Criteria :

Age Limit : Candidates age should not be more than 45 years as on 01/01/2014. This age limit is relaxable up to a maximum of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.


Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed 12th Standard Examination from a recognized Board or its equivalent.


Selection process : Candidates have to appear in the written Examination for selection.


SSC Lower Grade Departmental Examination Schedule :Exam will be held in 2 parts
1. Part I : Short Essay (100 marks of 1 hour 30 minutes) 
2. Part II : Language (50 marks) & General Knowledge (50 marks) (2 hours)
