Goa Police Department invites applications in prescribed format from eligible candidates for filling up of 554 vacant posts of Police Constable in Goa Police Department by direct recruitment. Eligibility Citeria for Police Constable post :

Age Limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must nor have crossed the age of 24 years as on 31/01/2014. 

Minimum Qualification : Candidates must possess Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination or equivalent qualification from  any recognized Board.


What is the Selection criteria & Pay scale of police constable post ?

Selection Procedure : Candidates will have to appear in Physical Efficiency Test (PET) i.e a qualifying test. Candidates who will be qualified in Physical Efficiency Test will be subjected to written examination of SSC Level. The candidates who pass in Written Examination will be called for Oral  Interview.

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 - 20,200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-.

Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs. 20 per form.


How to Apply : Candidates are required to purchase the application form available Goa Police Welfare Cell, GRP Administrative Block, GRP Camp, Altinho, Panaji, which can be collected between 09.30 hrs. to 17.30 hrs on all working days on payment of ` 20/- per Form. Fill the form in all respects and send it to following address :
