2. Assistant Engineer – Trainee (Electrical – Distribution) – 48 Posts
Eligibility for Jr. Engineer & Asst Engineer :
Age Limit :
1. For Jr. Engineer : Between 18 years to 30 years
2. For Asst Engineer : between 21 years to 30 years as on 01.01.201 4
Educational Qualification : Required qualification are different for each post as mentioned below :
1. For Jr. Engineer : Candidates must possess Diploma in "Electrical" or "Electrical and Electronics" Engineering from a University/Institution. Candidates having higher qualification i.e. graduate degree in “Electrical Engineering” or “Electrical and Electronics Engineering” may also apply.
2. For Asst Engineer : BE / B. Tech. or any equivalent degree in “Electrical” or “Electrical and Electronics” Engineering from a
University/Institution. The candidates appearing in Final Semester / Year examination may also apply.
Selection Process : The Eligible Candidates have to appear for written Test comprising of questions in Relevant branch of Engineering and General Aptitude. Based on the requirement and merit the candidates selected in written test shall be called for Personal Interview.
Pay Scale :
1. For Jr. Engineer : Base Pay of Rs. 9860 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4100 /-.
2. For Jr. Assistant : Base Pay of Rs. 15600 + Grade Pay of Rs. 54 00/-.
