UPSC IES/IS recruitment 2013 vacancy details -
Total No. of posts - 66 posts
1. Indian Economic Service – 30 posts
2. Indian Statistical Service – 36 posts
Age Limit - Candidate age should be between 21 years to 30 years as on 01-08-2013. Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualification -
1. Indian Economic Service – Candidates should possess Postgraduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics
2. Indian Statistical Service – Post-Graduate Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from recognized university.
Selection Process - Selection will be made on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview.
Application Fee - Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.200/-(SC/ST/ Female/PH candidates are exempted fee.) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of SBI bank/ SBBJ bank/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.
How to Apply - Eligible candidates can apply via online mode from UPSC website (www.upsconline.nic.in) on or before 16-09-2013.
After submission of Online Application candidates must take the print out of further reference/use.
