Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting online application for filling up
the applications for Indian Forest Service (IFS) posts (85 vacancies). UPSC is
conducting IFS Examination for recruitment of eligible candidates. IFS
Examination 2013 will be held on 26th May, 2013. Interested and

Candidates must
possess Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects as (Animal Husbandry &
Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, and
Statistics & Zoology).

OR Candidates
should possess bachelor’s degree Forestry, Agriculture or Engineering.
Age Details: Candidates should be aged b/w 21 years to 30 years as on 1st August, 2013. Age relaxation will be providing as per government norms.
Selection process: Selection will be done on the basis of Screening Test. Candidates first need o clear preliminary examination and then candidates who passed first stage have to clear main examination followed by personal interview.
